I hung out with these guys on Saturday, interviewed them in a noodle shop on the lower east side, went to their show then got supz drunk with them afterwards. Then ate heaps of garlic sausage and cut all my hair off.
I’ve become obsessed with this model.
Also, hey! I wrote this!
Today I watched the new Roman Polanski movie at a press preview and I’m preeeeeetty sure Martin Scorsese was sitting a couple meters away from me during it. I also reviewed the movie.

Anton and I (plus a mandolin player and the handyman owner of the apartment) will soon be living together (with a dog) in a great spot in Williamsburg in a building with a projection screen on the roof and a view of the Chrysler building.
I will have finished work, looked at an apartment with Anton and will be having the first of many nights of play time in da big city with my little buddy!
He’s getting here while I’m at work and is coming straight to my office…where he will be greeted with this:
An enormous map, notebooks, Mast Brothers chocolate (he may or may not hate chocolate and this may or may not really be for me), the Times, Time Out, strawberry and s’mores pop tarts, reese’s pieces and a postcard from Gay St. I intended to get him these monstrosities, but the Transit Museum gift store was severely understocked on tiny boys’ sizes. I also wanted to get him some cheesy treats from the Bedford Cheese Shop, but he’d have much more fun visiting and choosing that for himself.
